Patsy is the long-suffering assistant of singer and TV personality Eoin McLove.  She was portrayed by Irish actress and singer Maria Doyle Kennedy.

After Mrs. Doyle wins a poetry competition where the prize is to meet Eoin at home, Patsy accompanies him to the parochial house and goes in first, telling Ted and Dougal what they can and cannot do.  Eoin seems almost childlike and has to phone her in order to gain permission to enter the house.

When the house is surrounded by adoring fans, who gain access by tricking Ted into opening the living room window to say one of his Masses, they manage to barricade themselves in the bathroom until Mrs. Doyle comes to their rescue, telling the women to go home to their husbands.
